We just got this for our son and we've used it a couple of times already and it's so much fun (for him and kinda for us too!!), the wigglers are soft so he can grab them and a couple of times he's stumbled down on them and they give. Highly recommend it for the heat-and yes, you can get the same result from a sprinkler but this is so much more interesting!

This toy is a really neat concept...a pretend instrument which actually makes sound and can be built into many different configurations. As a toy I love this product. But as an instrument, keep in mind that you can't play actual musical notes with this. It still may very well help a young child develop an interest for actual musical instruments through imaginative play. My only complaint is that the pieces come apart easily which can be frustrating. Otherwise, the plastic appears durable.
